Overview
Funding is available for mass participation events that are held in Tasmania and provide substantial economic benefit for the state.
Preference will be given to events that:
- bring substantial benefit to regional Tasmania
- take place outside the peak tourism season
- have a track record of delivering successful events in Australia or internationally
- effectively promote pre- and post-event travel within Tasmania.
Check if you can apply
Applications are welcome from any eligible Australian organisation.
The basic eligibility requirements include:
- the event must bring at minimum 750 visitors to Tasmania from interstate or overseas
- the event must be able to substantiate any claims they make, either through research, verified data or economic impact studies.
