Every business owner, needs to know the basics of general bookkeeping. Even if you have a bookkeeper, you still should understand the basics.

This introduction to bookkeeping will give business owners the skills to understand the importance of how to track your business bookkeeping using a Cloud based software as an example, showing you that accounting and understanding your business isn’t as hard as you think. These skills are transferable across different bookkeeping platforms.

3 key learning outcomes:

  • the importance of having a system in place
  • reconciling your accounts, invoicing and debt collection, and a simple guide to payroll
  • general ATO requirements and what paperwork you need to keep.

To attend the workshop, you must be registered in the Business Connect program. Business Connect is a dedicated and personalised NSW Government program that provides trusted advice to help you start, run, adapt, or grow your small business.
